Are these fake cards?

horizonproxies.com offers a print and cutting on-demand service, one of the most common requests is the print of play-test/proxy cards for popular trading card games.

MTG proxy cards are not official Magic: The Gathering cards and are not allowed in sanctioned tournaments organized by Wizards of the Coast.

However, proxy cards are widely used for casual play, deck testing, Commander games with friends, cube drafting, and collecting alternative artwork.

Many players use MTG proxies to test new decks or play formats that would otherwise require very expensive cards.

At horizonproxies, all cards are clearly marked as PROXY or NOT FOR RESALE so they cannot be confused with original Magic: The Gathering cards.

We always recommend checking with your playgroup, local game store, or event organizer to make sure proxy cards are allowed in your games.

Are MTG proxies legal?

MTG proxies are intended for personal, casual, and playtest use. They should never be sold or represented as real Magic cards. Official sanctioned events require authentic Magic cards, so proxies should be used only where your playgroup, store, or event organizer allows them.

You will never see official manufacturers card backs on any printed card orders.

Are you affiliated with WoTC?

Horizonproxies.com is an independent business and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Magic: The Gathering (MTG) or its parent company, Wizards of the Coast. Our products are unofficial proxy cards, created as custom-printed items for personal, casual, or novelty use. These are not authentic MTG cards and are not intended for use in official tournaments or events. We do not sell genuine Magic: The Gathering cards and make no claim to do so. Any references to MTG, its trademarks, or related products are purely for informational purposes.
